If you are staying on or are visiting the Downtown historic sector of the city of Ponce, there is one place you cannot miss to get your day running or have your share of fresh coffee or Puerto Rican cuisine: Rumba y Sabor caf, right in the heart of Downtown Ponce.
Run by Chef Josu Mojica, this conveniently located caf offers everything from breakfast, lunch and even dinner with the kick you can expect from an experienced chef behind the stove. This is no ordinary egg-and-ham cafeteria, Rumba y Sabor offers a unique glimpse of tasty flavors and fresh dinery you can enjoy anytime of the day.
The caf is located right on the ground level floor of Plaza Isabel II, a few steps from the Ponce downtown square on Isabel Street and is actually a parking lot on its upper floors. If you are staying away from the city square you can simply park your car there and head to the lower patio.
Prices are actually quite good, so you can get some awesome breakfast, freshly brewed coffee, and then lunch and dinner right in one conveniently and private location near the most interesting sights and attractions on the area.
On the nights, Rumba y Sabor also offers a good spot to get your share of drinks and snacks while enjoying the Ponce night life on a safe, almost private and comfortable location.
