Location Description

Planetarium of the Department of Physics of the Mayaguez Campus. It is a full service planetarium and observatory dedicated to observational astronomy and related sciences. Open since 1973, it serves the academic community and the general public alike. Also houses a 16-inch telescope, which is available to the public.

M-F 8:00AM - 12:00PM, 1:00PM - 3:00PM. Open house every second Tuesday of the month at 8:00PM. Reservation is required for visits except during open house hours.
